We are hoping to build up an archive of photographs of regional vagrants that have occurred in Southern Africa. These are birds that may be common in one part of the subregion, but have turned up in an area where they are effectively unknown. If you have a photo(s) of a rare bird that has recently occurred and would be prepared to let us publish it on this website, please email it to us as an attachment so that we may add it to our list.

Please take note that ZEST for BIRDS does not assume liability for the acceptance of any of the records mentioned below. All rare bird sightings should be submitted to the relevant regional Rarities Committee for adjudication.
