Red-billed Quelea Quelea quelea
 
This Red-biled Quelea was caught, ringed and photographed in the Kalahari about 50kms north of Upington on 26 September 2005. It was photographed by Dirk van Stuyvenberg. The bird is leucistic, showing paleness on most of the body instead of the normal colour.
