European Reed Warbler
Acrocephalus scirpaceus

This bird was mistnetted on 18 January 2004 on the Umzumbe River Floodplain in Southern KwaZulu Natal. Apparently, a further 3 were caught at the same site on 22 February 2004. These birds are notoriusly difficult to identify, but all measurements were checked and confirmed with the Raijmakers book.
